SOLAR BATTERIES


The battery is the energy bank of a storage system. The battery stores your excess solar energy to provide additional power when you need it, backup your home when the grid goes down and power high wattage appliances when utility rates are high. The two most common types of batteries are Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LIP) and Lithium-NIckel-Manganese-Cobalt (NMC).

SOLAR BACKUP INTERFACE


Our advanced home backup solution is made possible by our backup interface. The backup interface is the on/off switch of the storage system that controls your home's connection to the grid and backup system. It connects to the inverter and battery, automatically controlling disconnection of house loads from the grid during power failures to provide backup power to full or partial home loads. It also enables homeowners full flexibility when deciding which household loads to backup.
